Paige Sheffield, LAc

Paige is a board certified with the National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental medicine which requires a post-graduate level degree of study.  She is licensed in Idaho, so you can rest assured that she is equipped with a thorough understanding of this complex system of medicine.   Paige sold her busy practice in Lincoln, Lincolnshire in 2016 where she had treated thousands of patients, like you, who are seeking effective, natural and lasting relief for their health concerns.  She now has moved her practice to Pocatello Idaho to serve those in Bannock County and the surrounding areas of South Eastern Idaho.  Whether it be for serious conditions like, stroke, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's or hormonal imbalances that have impaired your fertility or quality of life, acupuncture can help you to live a more vibrant life.

Paige completed numerous advanced post-graduate trainings with a variety of teachers and systems: Dr. Tan's Balance Method, NatureChild Postgraduate certificate, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.  Most recently training extensively with John Tindall, who is a qigong master, herbalist and acupuncturist, as well as a profoundly talented Shaman. Paige also holds recognised qualifications in Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Counselling, and a variety of massage techniques.

The style of treatment at ModernAcu is TCM-based as taught by her professors from Beijing, but she brings together elements of many years of training and experience to create the optimal healing experience and environment for each individual.

Paige's training in Qigong or Energy Work came before she trained as an acupuncturist.  She studied with Master Yang Jun, Zhixing Wang, Master Yang Jwing Ming for the last dozen years and has been teaching tai chi and qigong in a variety of classes and workshop venues across the world.  She now offers a class weekly in Pocatello.

Paige believes strongly in serving her community and gave of her time and expertise volunteering for World Medicine providing treatments in a SW London community centre in the aftermath of the tragedy at Grenfell Towers.  She also served as a board member of ACMAC (Association of Community and Multi-bed Acupuncture clinics).

How I See Dis-ease

Life throws us endless challenges, with many highs and lows.  We all will face illness and discomfort at some point, so best to find intelligent ways to deal calmly and work with our body's natural capacity for healing rather than suppress symptoms with drugs.  No need for a hammer when a small tap will do the job.  I'm here to activate your body's innate healing wisdom.  Move you out of a state of dis - ease into a more comfortable and easy state of being.

I have many tools to help you find more flow and clarity as you journey onwards, but I also am happy to refer patients for whom my skills are not the best fit.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you as you find a path to greater vitality and health.

Warm wishes,
