Paige Sheffield started ModernAcu in 2020 after Covid -19 prompted a move from the UK to the USA. After training and practicing for 10 years in the UK, she brings a high level of natural medical expertise to her SE Idaho-based practice. She has pursued post-graduate training in various specialties of Acupuncture (Fertility, Women’s Health, Pain Management, Facial Rejuvenation) as well as Medical Qigong and Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine. Paige also holds recognised qualifications in Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Counselling, Shiatsu, and Swedish Massage.

I admit I was very skeptical about acupuncture. I had 2 bulged discs in my neck and rheumatoid arthritis. I was in incredible pain as my bulged discs were impinging on the nerve that goes to my right arm and I could not get the muscles in my neck/back/shoulder to release. She fixed this in my first visit. I continued to see Paige to see if she could help my arthritis. Its my belief that her treatment was the thing I needed to put my arthritis on remission (I was taking biologics for my arthritis for many years and it just couldn't stop all the pain all alone). I'll continue to see Paige as her treatments made a huge difference for me.

I highly recommend Paige and the entire staff of this clinic. I had a painful shoulder that was affecting my quality of life - I felt an improvement after the first accupuncture treatment. After 4 treatments, I have almost no pain :). Paige has also been using her extensive knowledge to decrease menopausal symptoms - signifigantly fewer hot flashes and decreased mental fog. I am a RN, and was a bit skeptical at first, but I am officially impressed!! If you are considering an alternative to traditional Western medicine, just go! You will be happy with the results 😊

Paige is a true healer. Her knowledge of Chinese Medicine and skills with acupuncture helped my body heal after a high impact injury involving my neck. Her treatments were a great adjunct to frequency specific microcurrent and myofascial release that I was receiving from my occupational therapist. I bought a package treatment and have already used two of them for different reasons and they always help heal my body. I am a physical therapist by profession and yes, Paige is my Chinese medicine doctor!
